ILCA UK Membership options

Thanks for considering joining ILCA UK - The biggest class association in the UK! 

Our membership year runs from 1st January - 31st December

We offer the following membership options:

Individual 18 or over	Full membership for any sailor 18 or over	£39/year
Individual UNDER 18	Full membership for any sailor UNDER 18. The same fill membership, but requires an adult to oversee it.	£39/year

We do not have a family membership as such, but we offer a £10 discount for siblings, partners or parents/guardians living at the same address. This only applies if a full Individual membership is already in place. 

Example: 

1. You are a member and your partner or child wants to join as well - use individual additional membership
2. You are not a member but have more than one child (that is already a full member) - use additional membership

Individual additional 18 or over	Full membership for a second household member (sibling, partner, parent)	£29/year
Individual additional UNDER 18	Full membership for a second household member that is UNDER 18 years old	£29/year

Parents/guardians of UNDER 18 years old sailors - should you chose not be ILCA member, please create a profile for yourself first anyway (here), and then add a membership for your youngster. By doing so, you will be able to manage their profile and events and receive all event related information PLUS, you can sign up to volunteer. 

If you join after the National Championships, the membership goes to half price and after the Inland Championships membership is calculated pro rata. Bear in mind that discount is applied at checkout.

International sailors who are members of another district can race with us providing they create a profile and provide a proof of membership in another district. This means:

• Creating profile on ILCA UK portal
• Applying for International membership
• Providing proof of membership in from another district
• After approval - they can book onto ILCA UK events. This process takes about a week so do not leave it until the last minute please :)
