ILCA UK National Training
ILCA UK National Training
UPDATE 04/11/2024: National Training will be open to all sailors who have come in the top 50% male and 50% female in at least 2 out of the following 4 recent ILCA UK events: The ILCA UK Nationals at WPNSA, the two Autumn Qualifiers (Plas Heli in September and WPNSA 1 in October) and the Inlands at Grafham in early November.
If you sailed the ILCA UK Nationals in an ILCA 4, and transitioned to ILCA 6 for subsequent events, you can still attend National Training as you can count that result if you were top 50% male/female at one of the two events.
Please do not enter until you/your sailor has two top 50% results as per the eligibility criteria.
We encourage sailors to view the National Training as a series of training weekends and attend as many as possible for continuity of coaching. It is intended there will be one weekend a month of National Training, commencing Fourth Weekend of November through to first weekend of March.
Sailors can register their interest in National Training on this portal but will only receive a confirmed place once the requisite number of events/results have been completed, as set out above.
Regional Open Training will also be made available over the same 5 month period, which is open to all abilities.
