UKLA // Performance Academy

The UKLA and ASC Performance Academy are pleased to be able to offer support for the ILCA 6 European Championships in Ballyholme, NI on the following basis:

Arrival day - 26/07/24

Training Days/Registration and measurement - 27/07/24 28/07/24

Regatta days - 29/07/24 3/08/24

Departure day - 4/08/24

£550 per sailor (8:1)

NB: There may be a surcharge for rib charter if current situation attaining to transport changes.

Sailors will receive: support through registration and measurement; coaching through familiarization days to best prepare the athletes to compete in the venue; morning briefing, on water support and daily debriefs during the regatta.

Furthermore, once sailors are booked there will be online team meetings in the lead up to discuss theory and preparation.

The aim of this program is to create an inclusive yet professional opportunity for UKLA members to attend international events during the summer. Meanwhile, also offering additional training opportunities for those sailors who are wanting to approach the championship with further preparation. This tailored structure should cater for all member needs, wants and resources.

Charter should be arranged privately.
