The Super Grand Prix (SGP) is a fun weekend event, consisting of top quality coaching, and competitive racing. Developed to fill the gap identified by UKLA Members as part of the regular survey programme. This event is primarily aimed at club sailors, but not exclusively so, valuing diversity in the fleet, encouraging all ages, gender and rigs to come together to celebrate everything that is the ILCA/Laser, with the emphasis on fun. Helping to grow and sustain a healthy ILCA club base across the regions, building confidence to take an active part, create ambassadors, whilst helping sailors develop skills and ability to get the most out of their sailing.
You can select to book for training only (Saturday), Racing only (Sunday). We encourage all to take an advantage of quality training on Saturday and coach support during racing on Sunday.
SATURDAY 1ST JULY
Training tickets are free to UKLA members (discount applied at checkout), general tickets price is £10.00 - limited to 20 spaces
SATURDAY EVENING SOCIAL 6pm
Get a great Pizza from a pizza van on site or you are welcome to bring your own food, there is a BBQ area if you want to use it.
LIVE BAND HOBO'S playing 60, 70 & 80's music.
SUNDAY
Racing entry fee is £15.00 for adults and £10.00 for youth (U21) with further discounts to Hollowell SC members
